American Futuristics ("we," "us," or "our") operates a virtual contact center and fractional IT services business. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information about you — whether you're a prospective client visiting our website, a business client using our services, an end customer interacting with our contact center team on behalf of one of our clients, or a job applicant.

We take privacy seriously. We don't sell your data. We don't spam you. We collect what we need to do our jobs, protect it, and use it only to deliver or improve the services we provide.

Plain-English Summary: We collect information you give us and some information automatically when you visit our site. If you're a client, we also handle data tied to your business and your customers as part of delivering services. We protect all of it and don't sell it — ever. Read on for the full details.

1. Who We Are

American Futuristics is a U.S.-based company providing virtual contact center services and fractional IT solutions to small and mid-sized businesses. Our registered business address and primary contact information are listed in the Contact Us section at the bottom of this page.

We act in two capacities under this policy:

2. Information We Collect

Information You Give Us Directly

Information We Collect Automatically

Information We Handle on Behalf of Clients

As part of delivering virtual contact center or IT support services, we may process data that our clients provide to us or that is generated during service delivery. This includes:

Client Data: If you are an end customer of one of our clients and have questions about how your data is handled, you should contact that client directly. Our use of your data is governed by the agreement between us and the client, not this policy.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

Deliver and Manage Services

Communicate With You

Billing and Administration

Improve Our Services

Legal and Compliance

Hiring

4. Call Recording & Monitoring

Notice: Calls handled through our virtual contact center may be recorded and/or monitored for quality assurance, training, compliance, and service improvement purposes.

Where required by applicable law — including state wiretapping and electronic communications statutes — callers are notified of recording at the start of the call via an automated disclosure. By continuing a call after this notice, callers consent to recording.

Our clients determine whether their customer calls are recorded and for how long recordings are retained. If you have questions about a specific client's recording practices, contact that client directly.

Call recordings are stored securely and are accessible only to authorized personnel. Recordings are used solely for:

We do not use call recordings to build advertising profiles or sell to third parties.

5. IT Services & System Access

To deliver managed IT and fractional IT services, our team members may require access to client systems, networks, devices, and data. This access is:

Our team does not access client systems outside of scheduled or authorized service windows except in response to active incidents or security emergencies — and we will always notify the client as promptly as possible when such access occurs.

Monitoring Tools

We may deploy remote monitoring and management (RMM) software or endpoint detection tools on client-authorized devices. These tools collect system health data (CPU, memory, disk, patch status, event logs) for the sole purpose of maintaining the health and security of the client's IT environment. This data is not used for advertising, profiling, or any purpose outside of IT service delivery.

Data Handling in Client Environments

When performing work inside a client's environment, we may incidentally encounter business data, customer records, or other sensitive information. Our personnel are trained to treat all such data as confidential, to access only what is necessary to perform the task, and never to remove, copy, or use client business data outside of the service context.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only in these circumstances:

With Service Providers

We use trusted third-party vendors to help us operate — including scheduling tools (Calendly), payment processors, cloud storage and communication platforms, and IT management software. These vendors access only the data necessary to perform their function and are bound by contractual data protection obligations.

With Clients

Information generated during service delivery — call logs, interaction summaries, IT support records — is shared with the relevant client as part of the services they've contracted with us.

For Legal Reasons

We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or valid government request, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, prevent fraud, or protect the safety of our personnel, clients, or the public.

Business Transfers

If American Futuristics is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, customer information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify affected parties prior to any such transfer and make clear any changes to this Privacy Policy.

With Your Consent

We may share information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Specific retention periods include:

When data is no longer needed, we delete it securely or anonymize it so it can no longer be linked to an individual.

8. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we hold against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Our security practices include:

No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we take commercially reasonable steps to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your information has been compromised, please contact us immediately at security@americanfuturistics.com.

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or third-party ad networks on our website.
